January 22nd London VMUG meeting

No sooner are Christmas and the New Year celebrations over, we’re back with a bang and arranging an awesome line up for our London VMUG members at our January 22nd meeting.  We’re back to our usual venue, the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry – they look after us so well and it’s a great central London location, so why change?!

January 22nd will highlight the ‘crème de la crème’ of the vFACTOR submissions, with lightning talks from Philip Coakes, Alec Dunn, Dave Simpson, Gareth Edwards and Chris Porter. After the success of having GSS at the User Conference in Birmingham, they’re back to host 2 sessions.  We’re also delighted to welcome back Frank Denneman from PernixData, along with his customer, Cloudhelix to tell us about best practices for deployed decoupled storage in a cloud environment.  Next up on the sponsorship side are Simplivity and Unitrends who will tell us about converged infrastructure and datacentre failover respectively.  We’ve also got the Xtravirt team in the Lab sessions, running a tech preview of their SaaS solution, SONAR, for vSphere on demand analytics and reporting.  With Docker, devops and SDDC in the real world sessions from VMware, it’s an agenda not to be missed.  So, what are you waiting for, register here now!

We’ll close the day with traditional vBeers at the Pavilion End, kindly sponsored by 10ZIG – thanks guys!
